Identification of Material Issues (Materiality)

The TS TECH Group has identified the key material issues (materiality) it will prioritize to help contribute to the creation of a sustainable world.

Since its founding, not only has the TS TECH Group sought to provide comfortable, high-quality products to customers by pursing the infinite possibilities in manufacturing, it has also adapted to a rapidly-changing external environment while fostering a unique corporate culture under a two-pronged Vision Statement. In line with this statement, we strive to be "a company dedicated to realizing people's potential," which expresses our belief that people are the decisive factor in a company, and "a company sincerely appreciated by all" stakeholders as an independent global seat and interior system supplier that is a part of society.

Additionally, starting with our 13th Medium-Term Management Plan (fiscal 2018-fiscal 2020), we have included "ESG management" in our management policy and integrated a focus on social sustainability into our business strategy. We will work to further improve corporate value by putting both into practice.

The TS TECH Group's "ESG management" is highly material to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set forth by the United Nations in January 2016, and its essence is reflected in our 14th Medium-Term Management Plan (fiscal 2021-fiscal 2023) as well as our 2030 Vision. With this in mind, we believe that we can continue to contribute to the creation of a sustainable world through our business activities.
